To reflect current trends in the booming business in resale and thrifting, we have renamed our store. It’s now Council Resale Shop! Our racks and shelves are stilled stocked with "new to the store" items including seasonal clothing, household items, jewelry, Judaica and pictures. And of course, new items are put out on a daily basis. Masks are optional in our store.

We offer chic new and gently-worn fashions for men, women and children, furs, shoes, jewelry and accessories, household goods and more. Come shop in our store for fabulous finds, always at bargain prices! Names like Coach, Ralph Lauren, Elie Tahari, Wedgwood and Lenox appear often.

Why Your Donation Means So Much
Our primary need is SALEABLE merchandise. Your donations produce the income needed to fund our community services and advocacy programs both locally and in Israel. Please take the time to check your wardrobes and households for items that are no longer worn or needed and bring them to us! And, if you know someone who is moving, ask that person about donating some of their items to the shop. All donations are tax deductible as permitted by law and donation receipts are cheerfully given.
Here are a few things to remember:
- Clothing must be packed in sealed, plastic bags.
- Household items must be packed in boxes.
- We now take used linens and towels, in separate marked bags.
- Please remember, all donations must be SEASONAL, SALEABLE, CLEAN and UNDAMAGED.

Gold Rush
Donate your gold scraps, earring backs, discarded gold links, broken necklaces, one earring (you lost the other), any other piece of gold you are willing to part with.
- Place in a baggie and write FRAN on it and bring to the store.
- Arrangements have been made with a reputable jeweler to buy our gold.
- The same is true for silver scraps

We continue to need volunteer sales help at Council Resale Shop. Your participation for just a few hours a week, or even twice a month, will really make a big difference.
