Covid Protocol

Vaccinations Required, Masks Encouraged

The Board of NCJW BCS is planning for in-person meetings and programs. Watch for your monthly Council Connections, our website, or your email in-box for confirmation whether Board Meetings, General Meetings and other programs will be held in-person or on Zoom.

To provide a sense of security and safety for our membership and our community for in-person programs and events, while being cognizant of the increase of COVID infections due to the Omicron variant, we have established protocols that were originally established by Temple Emeth’s Board of Trustees.

This policy will apply to all NCJW BCS meetings held at Temple Emeth and all NCJW BCS events and programs held at other locations. This includes transportation as part of a sponsored event/trip.

Therefore, vaccinations are required for all NCJW BCS in-person meetings and programs for all members and attendees. Masks are voluntary and encouraged.

When volunteering at NCJW BCS community service programs, NCJW BCS members and/or volunteers must abide by the policies of the agency where the volunteering occurs.

This policy will periodically change in accordance with Temple Emeth’s policies and NJ state mandates and/or recommendations. Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to continue to get together safely in-person.

We would appreciate verification of your vaccinations. To send us verification of your vaccinations please:

  • Mail or email a copy of your vaccination card to the office at office@ncjwbcs.org. It can be a scanned document or a picture. Please put ‘Vaccination verification’ on your subject line.
  • Stop by and show it to Angelique or leave her a copy at the office at 75 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ 07621.
  • Show your vaccination and booster verification (or a copy) at the next Board meeting or General Meeting or NCJW BCS program/event.
  • If you had your shots in New Jersey, you may upload your vaccination information onto an App called Docket (https://covid19.nj.gov/pages/vaxrecords) which will be acceptable for vaccination verification.

We will not keep any copies of your personal card or information; they will be discarded.
