Here are some opportunities where your time and help would be greatly appreciated.

CHILDREN’S COURT CARE CENTER: at the Bergen County Courthouse. As little as once a month or as much time as you have. 9-12:30 or 1:30-4:30. Play with children when their parents are in court. Call Evelyn Masheb at 201-265-8752.

HOLLEY CHILD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER/CLUB NCJW: monthly in Hackensack after our General Meetings. Engage the Holley Center children with crafts projects. 3:30-5:00. To learn more call Evelyn Masheb at 201-265-8752 or Ellen Ptalis at 201-488-1555.

CENTER FOR FOOD ACTION – ACTION BEYOND THE BAG
The Center for Food Action (CFA) continues to provide much-needed rental and utility assistance to its clients. This summer, in addition to the monthly food provisions, CFA is introducing Dinners4Seniors. This is a new supplemental food package for seniors 60+ years of age. Qualifying seniors receive four additional meals. The package includes individual servings of salmon, cod, chicken breasts, ground turkey, vegetables, seasonings and more. CFA has received rave reviews from Dinners4Seniors recipients!
