BUS LEAVES AT 8:30 AM – NOTE DEPARTURE TIME CHANGE
On Thursday, September 29 we will visit the restored landmark, Eldridge Street Synagogue and Museum. We will have a tour specifically designed for us including the history, art and architecture of the edifice and the Lower East Side. The docent will also focus on the role of women in the Lower East Side throughout history. We will enjoy lunch at Katz’s Deli, being served in a reserved area. You will have a choice of 1/2 sandwich and a side dish, served with iced tea. We will then go on a self-guided walking tour of area landmarks for some ‘noshes’ and more knowledge.

The bus leaves Temple Emeth in Teaneck at 8:30 am, returning about 5 pm. Registration will be confirmed by email.
