NEWS ABOUT BERGEN VOLUNTEER MEDICAL INITIATIVE
BVMI provides free primary, sick and chronic care to low-income working Bergen County residents who do not have medical insurance. Individuals/families may earn up to 300 percent of the federal poverty level. NCJW BCS was part of the founding group in 2006 when efforts began to create this free healthcare facility for the working poor. Doors opened in 2009, and the 8th year anniversary was celebrated in September. BVMI continues to be one of NCJW’s outstanding community services. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
