NEW MEMBERS ENJOY LUNCH & SNACK PACK MEETING

Sixteen new members of NCJW BCS enjoyed meeting each other, sharing a light lunch catered by La Promenade of Tenafly, and hearing more about the history of this wonderful organization. The luncheon was held at Temple Emeth prior to the January general meeting. It was a perfect day to have this luncheon as we were going to pack snack packs right afterwards.

The new members seemed very excited about all of the activities available to them through their new connection to NCJW BCS. There was a great deal of happy chatter, including several women sharing their reasons for joining Bergen County Section. The binding thread was a desire to volunteer for the common good.

Four of our new members won gifts in a surprise raffle. Also enjoying the yummy lunch were Co- Presidents Elizabeth Halverstam, Ruth Seitelman and Bari-Lynne Schwartz. The luncheon was hosted by Co-Vice Presidents of Membership Marilynn Friedman and Joan Schnuer.
