NCJW BCS MEMBERS ATTEND BERGEN FAMILY CENTER GALA

On November 6 Bergen Family Center held its annual gala at Rockleigh Country Club.  This wonderful evening included an awards presentation and a silent auction.  Some of the NCJW members in attendance were (back row) Michael Silverstein ,Ina Miller-Silverstein, Ilene Wechter, Nita Gottesman, Peggy Kabakow, Sue Kanrich and (front row) Geri Kaufman, Joan Schnuer and Marcia Levy.

Bergen Family Center offers several programs in which NCJW volunteers participate.  The Seniors program is a unique social daycare for visually-impaired and other seniors.  HIPPY, Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters, trains parents to be their children’s first teachers, while the NCJW BCS/Renee Guller Infant and Toddler Center offers caring day care in a new, dynamic environment.
