MINDFULNESS: HELP IN OUR DAILY LIVES: STUDY GROUP

sandweiss-beth-jan-study-groupTUESDAY, JANUARY 24 AT 1:00 PM, RIVERSIDE MALL CONFERENCE CENTER

Join us on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 at 1 pm at the Riverside Mall Conference Center for a very interesting and informative presentation on the theories and uses of Mindfulness. Refreshments will be served. The entrance fee is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.

Ever feel overwhelmed and stressed? Need help in coping with personal situations? Everyone does at some point in their lives. Our next study group presenter should help us deal with the challenges we all encounter. Beth Sandweiss has been a mental health worker for over 25 years and maintains a private therapy practice in Montclair, New Jersey, where she uses Mindfulness-based interventions to treat families, adults, and teens. She is the director of Mindfulness Programs at Jewish Family Services of Metrowest NJ.

Beth has come to value the power of mindfulness to enhance the capacity for joy and to develop greater awareness, wisdom, compassion, and resilience in the face of the stress, anxiety, and changes in our lives. She will explain the concept of Mindfulness and its benefits, and give us techniques for our personal use. For further information, contact Marilynn Friedman at 201-568-0145 or marisfried@aol.com.
