LUNCH AND LEARN ATTENDEES HEAR BUSINESS GURU

This year’s Lunch and Learn study group held on March 6th was a huge success, combining delicious food provided by Foster Village Deli and a fabulous speaker, Joann S. Lublin.  More than 50 NCJW BCS members and non-members attended this year’s event.  Ms. Lublin, who is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist for the Wall Street Journal and author of Earning It,  shared her personal experiences, as well as those of other women she has interviewed who had achieved success in business.

Although each had her own story, it was pointed out that they all demonstrated some form of the four leadership traits necessary for becoming leaders:  resiliency, innovation, persistence and empathy.  Ms. Lublin’s presentation was definitely fascinating and current to what is happening in today’s business world.  Afterwards, two copies of her book were raffled off to those attending the event.
