Today is National Voter Registration Day! To honor this day, we’ve put together some resources to help guide your efforts to promote and protect the vote. There’s never been a more crucial time to do so. Here are things to do…

By yourself:

• Get informed about ballot initiatives in your area
• If you’ve moved or changed names in the last year, update your registration or register to vote
• Apply now to our new Courageous Conversations program! Over the course of the pilot, 8-12 NCJW members will be trained on how to start conversations on divisive issues using faith as a shared value. Click herefor more information

With your friends:

• Listen to our #CourtsMatter to Voting Rights call featuring Ezra Rosenberg of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law
• For the upcoming election day, be sure to post voter hotlines on social media in case folks have questions or experience issues: 866-OUR-VOTE and 888-VE-Y-VOTA (bilingual)
• Volunteer to become a poll monitor

• Print and share state Voter ID information cards
• Share NCJW & Rock the Vote’s voter registration tool
