HELPING CHILDREN GET READY FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR

School Supplies thumbnailThe summer is almost over, the new school year is about to begin. On August 9, several NCJW BCS members gathered and spent the afternoon packaging school supplies provided by the generosity of members.

Back packs, composition books, pens, pencils and crayons were in abundance.

The supplies and six gift cards were organized into twenty back packs, and four large bags full of supplies and distributed among the children at Youth Consultation Services Holley Center, Center for Hope and Safety, Bergen Family Center and Women’s Rights Information Center. A full list of the community services NCJW BCS supports can be found by visiting https://www.ncjwbcs.org/community-service/.
