The agencies below are in dire need of specific items as a result of COVID-19. While we cannot volunteer at this time, we can try to help where we can. This list will be updated as needed. THANK YOU  in advance for your help and support.

Bergen Family Center – SESCIL (Southeast Senior Center for Independent Living) needs personal items for the Seniors in their Adult Day Program. The following items are requested: Poligrip Denture Adhesive, Deodorant unisex (non-aerosol), Mouthwash, Tooth paste/Toothbrush, Kleenex, Non slip socks/unisex, Body and Hand Lotion, Body Wash. BVMI, Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative   is having a food drive to collect HEALTHY, non-perishable foods, which they’ll be distributing on Saturdays – from BVMI – along with produce boxes from Common Market (another nonprofit that they’re partnering with). Requested Foods: Siete Tortillas – Cassava Flour grain free tortilla, Oatmeal, Farro, Brown Rice, Canned beans, Dried beans, Peanut butter/natural, Whole wheat crackers, Nuts, Bran cereal, Canned Sardines in water, Canned Tuna, Canned Salmon, Canned Chicken, Pasta, Pasta sauce, Bottled water, Low salt chicken or vegetable broth, Shelf stable milk. Center For Hope and Safety needs masks, non perishable foods, toiletries, gift cards and cleaning supplies. Underwriting meals from restaurants that deliver to their clients housed in motels would be greatly appreciated.
