POSTPONED: Attend YWCA Bergen County healingSPACE 25th Anniversary Clothesline Project

On Thursday, September 20, the YWCA Bergen County healingSPACE will display its collection of 2,000 t-shirts designed by survivors of sexual violence.  The event will take place on the Green across from the Court House in Hackensack from 10 am to 5 pm.

The purpose of the event is to raise community awareness of violence against women, men and children and to demonstrate support for survivors.  Our Founding Mothers, this year’s theme, pays homage to the women who originally paved the way and to the women who work daily in the field of sexual violence. A midday program will recognize the work of these individuals.

NCJW BCS has been a long-time supporter of this project. The event is free.  Rain date, Thursday, September 20.  Contact:  Bari-Lynne Schwartz, 973-641-2981; barilynnes@verizon.net.
