Washington InstituteOmni Shoreham Hotel, Washington DC. WASHINGTON INSTITUTE OVERVIEW Every three years, NCJW brings advocates from across the country to Washington, DC for Washington Institute. This exciting event brings NCJW members and supporters together in our nation’s capital to meet with issue experts and elected officials to promote progressive social change. Whether you are a seasoned advocate or a first-time attendee, there is always s something to learn and be inspired by. ►NEW THIS YEAR: Washington Institute 2016 (WI 2016) will begin just after lunch on Sunday, March 13 and will end with a closing program following a day on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, March 15 . Note: This year our award dinner will be held on Monday evening. On Tuesday, our closing program will end no later than 4pm in order for attendees to catch flights and trains home. Luggage provisions will be made, and details will be shared as we get closer to the conference. ►Pre Institute training will begin on Saturday, March 12. (More details on pre-Institute training to come.) ►WI 2016 will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. In addition, Washington Institute 2016 provides opportunities to attend hands002Dinstitute on training and roundtable discussions that better equip us to mobilize on key social justice issues, honor allies and champions who lead social change efforts, and make our collective voice heard as we speak out on Capitol Hill.
